Welcome to the Kingdom of Doriath
“In this painting, I take you on a journey to the mysterious Elven kingdom of Doriath, home to the ancient Sindar Elves who live in harmony with nature and the Valar. My RPG character, Jaquar, who accompanied me in a Silmarillion tabletop roleplaying campaign, rides through this land, protected by Melian’s magical Girdle. The forest itself is alive and full of secrets, while the connection to the divine is subtly suggested in the background. I dedicated a year to this piece to capture the magnificent, peaceful, and mystical atmosphere of Doriath.”
