Twelve Years at Trickstudio Steinmetz – From Intern to Animator
Between 1999 and 2012, I had the great fortune to be part of Trickstudio Steinmetz – a place that, more than any other, shaped my passion for traditional animation. The studio was responsible for the charming and lovingly crafted series Nulli und Priesemut, which many children got to know and love through Die Sendung mit der Maus.
In the beginning, during my internships, I had the opportunity to gain first insights into the production process and learned a lot about the creative and technical aspects of traditional 2D animation. After studying at the International Film School in Cologne, I was fortunate enough to return to the team as an animator. It was a fulfilling task to bring the adventures of Nulli und Priesemut to life and enrich their stories with my animations.
The years at Trickstudio Steinmetz were a formative time filled with creative challenges and valuable experiences – a wonderful chapter in my journey as an animator.
