For Sale is the result of passionate teamwork and my graduation project from the International Film School Cologne (2005). In collaboration with Dabrowka Kolodziejski, Cornelius Porzig, and Ulla Schmidt, a short film was created that brings the magic of classic hand-drawn animation to the screen.
“The film tells a profound yet humorous story, with an aesthetic and emotional depth that captivates. Every movement was lovingly hand-animated frame by frame to bring the characters to life and present the story in a distinctive atmosphere.”
For Sale has won several awards, including third place at the prestigious Hamburg Animation Award 2005, as well as the coveted “IFS-Lola” in 2006. Additionally, the film was shown at the Short Cuts Cologne festival in the same year, where it received an enthusiastic response from the audience.
This project not only marks the highlight of my studies but also serves as a tribute to the art of classic animation, which continues to play a significant role in my work today.
